St Senans RFC 17/01/19
St Senans RFC were the grateful recipients today of a sports capital grant of €48,200. These funds will help us in our efforts to continue the development of our facilities in Shannon so we can create and develop a more welcoming space for all our members’ supporters and visitors who train play matches support and visit our club.
We will now be getting down to working with the various stakeholders who will be involved in the next phase of development of the facilities in Jimmy Slattery Park. This will involve upgrading and building of facilities, which we had in the original plan for St Senans RFC clubhouse in Jimmy Slattery Park.
These development plans will involve a big effort from all our members and we will be contacting members to help with this ambitious project in the coming weeks and months.
The above application process involved allot of behind the scenes work and without this work we would not be in the position we are today where we can move forward with our vision to continuously improve the facilities for all our members and visitors to St Senans RFC. Therefore, a massive thank you must go to Derek Byrnes Catriona O’Riordan Jody O’ Donoghue and Padraig Rowe for all their efforts over the last two years in the application process alongside their other commitments in running the club as committee members.
A final thank you to TD Joe Carey for his help and to Minister Pat Breen.
